Versus Socks is the brainchild of two ex-Stellenbosch (South Africa) students, both passionate sports people, Hanno Lategan and Jurgens Uys. During a bike ride in 2013, the topic of socks came up and with both partners always on the lookout for new business opportunities they realised that there’s a gap in the market for comfortable, durable and just outright good looking socks.

From there designs were put on the table, chocolate milkshakes were consumed, a reliable local manufacturer was pinpointed and Versus Socks came to life.

Today, Versus Socks provides a range of active, running and cycling socks that will make your feet smile from toe to toe.

All our socks are proudly designed and made in South Africa.
